Design Story

At distance the eye finds two grinning jack-o'-lanterns in dense orange, set diagonally across the visible side and acting as the twin anchors of the whole arrangement. Medium range reveals the supporting cast: pale ghosts with soft open mouths, two witch hats banded in purple and gold, outstretched bats, a cauldron of green bubbles, a black cat sitting upright with amber eyes. Up close, the surface reads as raised-looking stitchwork — looped textures, tiny bead-like dots, scattered stars, candy corn, purple blossoms and green leaf sprigs filling the gaps. The cream ground does the quiet work here, letting each motif hold its own space rather than competing. Nothing lunges; the mood is playful rather than frightening.

Use & Styling
