Design Story

At distance, the read is the dripping red "VAMPURR" lettering, chased by yellow "BITES AGAIN!" set on a diagonal. Below it sits the focal figure: a black cat in a high orange-lined collar, gold eyes wide, fangs bared over pale clawed hands with red-lacquered nails. A bone-white moon, sage-green cloud shapes and a small silhouetted castle build the background layer without competing for attention. A thin yellow keyline boxes the whole composition, and the small line "This time... it's purrsonal" sits underneath in red, closing the hierarchy. The palette is disciplined: red, mustard, muted green and cream against deep black.

Use & Styling

The artwork holds one contained panel on the visible front face, so the black mug body works as an unbroken border rather than fighting the graphic. Scale is generous but the yellow keyline stops well before the handle-side boundary, leaving clean negative space at the rim and base. On a shelf or desk, it reads as a framed miniature poster.
