Design Story

From across a room you catch three things: the pale full moon, the little ghost in a floppy witch hat, and the tower of three carved pumpkins glowing orange against near-black surroundings. That orange is the only warm note in the palette, so it does all the heavy lifting for contrast. Step closer and the supporting cast fills in — a spiky gabled house with amber windows, a hanging lantern, a wooden signboard reading "Sophia's House", a book lettered "Spells", a black cat with gold eyes, and a broom leaning at the handle-side boundary. The border of twisting vines and a small pumpkin crest at the rim frames it all with raised-looking, hand-carved-style detail.

Use & Styling

The composition is built for a mug body: the moon and rooftops sit high near the rim, the ghost, cat and pumpkins anchor the lower half, and the artwork runs edge to edge before stopping cleanly at the handle.
